Once upon a time... there was a beautiful young girl named Cinderella. She had two ugly stepsisters, who were very cruel to her. Cinderella had to work really hard to please her stepsisters and stepmother. One day the family got an invitation for the ball but Cinderella had to stay at home because she didn't have a dress.
After the evil stepsisters had left... suddenly a fairy godmother appeared and turned Cinderella's rags into a beautiful dress. On her feet were sparkling glass slippers.
The fairy godmother turned a pumpkin into an amazing coach and some mice into horses.
But Cinderella had to go back by midnight or else at 12 o'clock the magic would disappear!
At the ball, everyone wondered who the beautiful princess was. The prince danced every dance with her... they were dancing and suddenly, the clock began to strike twelve...
Cinderella ran back to the coach, but she lost one of her glass slipper on the way.
Then, the coach and horses disappeared and Cinderella's beautiful dress turned back to rags.
The prince couldn't forget the mysterious girl, he wanted to find her but the only thing he had was a glass slipper. He set out the guards to search the kingdom and every girl had to try on this lost slipper.
Finally, the guard and the prince arrived at Cinderella's house; they didn't notice her at first she was sitting in the corner. She was dirty again and dressed in scruffy clothes.
The ugly stepsisters tried to fit into the slipper but their feet were too big. The prince was sad, he was about to leave the house, when the guard noticed the girl in the corner of the house. He asked her to try the slipper on... Cinderella tried it on and it fit perfectly.
The prince had found his princess and they lived happily EVER AFTER.
